The chief Marco Bernardi remounts his Octogen guise for 'C-side' - a tough and tasty follow up to the meaty 'Ligrgirl' EP earlier this year. Including a couple of mixes from Detroit's Silicon and Osaka Ultras, the name of Octogen's game is shimmering techno-soul that unites a robot shell with an emotional heart. Given real focus by Bernardi's own treated vocals, 'C-Side' resembles a clear night sky given a ticking techno soundtrack; inspiring real twinkly eyed awe whilst keeping the feet fully engaged. Backed up by Osaka Ultras' rattling mix on the A, the back is reserved for the edible new track 'Acieob' (another slice of emotion saturated machine music) and Silicon's raucous Detroit reading that comes across like some lost Motor City classic.

Hot electronix by Marco Bernardi and a super sweet remix by Kettel! Minimalistic electronix with a touch of cut-up 4 to the floor techno and wierd vocals. Kettel delivers another great remix with stunning melodies and soft rolling beats. Very nice and gentle!
